The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra puts Gustav Holst's The Planets and John Williams's best-known film themes on one programme, with images of the planets projected onto the walls of the hall. Sergey Smbatyan conducts.
The programme
First half: Holst's The Planets, Op. 32 (56 minutes). After the interval, Williams: Adventures on Earth from E.T., then the Imperial March, Across the Stars, Duel of the Fates and the Main Title from Star Wars.
28 October at 19:30, with tickets from 4,000 to 25,000 drams. Children are admitted from six — which, for this programme, seems rather the point.
