In Vino holds an evening on 15 October for anyone who would like to turn a fondness for wine into proper knowledge. It introduces WSET, the London-based Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and the WSET courses on offer in Armenia.
Expect to hear what the courses teach and how to enrol, with help in choosing the right one, whether you simply enjoy wine or work in the trade.
The tasting
Four wines are poured over the evening, with snacks, followed by a quiz to test what one knows. The tasting is in Armenian with English translation; the quiz is in English only, which rather tips the odds.
